Day 1: June 22, 2016

Hey everybody,

Day one of the MTC and everything's going great so far. I don't have much time but I just wanted to let you guys know that I've made it safe and I love you all. I'll have more time to email on my next P day which is Wednesday. I'll email you soon!

A Father's Perspective

Elder Kaitoku will be accompanied to the Missionary Training Center by his father.  His younger brother Tallin, who is also pictured above is participating in SOAR at BYU.


Bishop Kaitoku shared these precious and heartfelt thoughts about the time spent with his son...
"I'm so happy and thankful to have these few days with him. We've driven around for hours just talking. He is a good priesthood holder and is responsible. This young man of ours is impressive. He is ready to serve. He shared with me things that helped me to know that he's been paying attention the last 18+ years.  He knows what is true and essential to life here and beyond..."
